Sunbury City Hall RE-BID

The City of Sunbury will receive sealed bids, one (1) original and two (2) copies, for General & 
Electrical Construction at 225 Market Street, Sunbury, PA 17801 until 4:00 pm prevailing time on 
November 26, 2024 at 225 Market Street, Sunbury, PA 17801 at which time and place, all bids 
will be publicly opened and read aloud. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the project site at 
8:30am on November 12, 2024.
The Work involves two Separate Prime Contracts; General Construction partial renovation of the 
First Floor of City Hall, including demolition, new interior walls, and interior finishes. Electrical 
Work involves relocation of Electrical Panels, new outlets, and new LED lighting. No HVAC or 
Plumbing work is anticipated. “This project is being supported in part, by federal CORONAVIRUS 
STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY FUNDS awarded to the City of Sunbury by the U.S. 
Department of the Treasury.”

tls@marottamain.com. Electronic PDF files will be shared with requesting Contractors.
A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the City of Sunbury, or a satisfactory Bid 
Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) 
of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully 
completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid.
Bids may be held by the City of Sunbury for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the 
purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding 
the contract. The City of Sunbury reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any 
irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage applies to this 
Project.
