Nondiscrimination Policy

The Enterprise Center does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, the appointment to and termination from its Board of Directors, hiring and firing of staff or contractors, selection of volunteers, selection of vendors, and providing of services.

In addition to the protections of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance, The Enterprise Center acknowledges that employment discrimination is covered by Title VI if the primary objective of the financial assistance is the provision of employment, or where employment discrimination causes or may cause discrimination in providing services under such programs.

Furthermore, The Enterprise Center recognizes that Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits employment discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance. We are committed to upholding these federal regulations and ensuring that our practices align with the principles of non-discrimination as outlined in these statutes.
