Alima Redding is Vice President and Business Acquisition Manager for the Small Business Development Group. She is responsible for the Mid-Atlantic covering Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia. She and her team of Business Development Officers are charged with acquiring new business customers with sales ranging $1-$10 million. Alima and her team serve as a visible representation of Wells Fargo Small Business Banking utilizing an innovative approach to build meaningful relationships with customers and communities.
Alima joined Wells Fargo SBD in 2020 and was most recently the Wells Fargo Business Payroll Services Regional Manager for the Northeast. She brings over 15 years of business experience ranging from business development, small business ownership and regional leadership. She joined the organization in 2013.
Alima was recently a guest speaker at the Black Enterprise Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Summit, where she discussed strategies to help Black and African American women business owners succeed and grow. She earned her bachelor’s degree from William Paterson University and is pursuing a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania. She is based in Philadelphia.
