The Buy Black movement has never had more momentum, and it resonates with The Enterprise Center's core mission as a nonprofit that supports and empowers minority entrepreneurs. With that in my mind, and with the longstanding history of black entrepreneurship on 52nd Street and the heightened focus on 52nd Street revitalization, we present #BuyBlack #52ndStreet.
We're starting by highlighting black-owned businesses in the following industries: food, clothing, special services, and arts and books. Look for updates including childcare, as well as hair and beauty.
Please note this directory currently covers businesses located on 52nd Street between Arch and Pine streets, as well as those on immediately adjacent side street blocks (i.e. the 5100 and 5200 blocks of Market, Chestnut, Walnut, etc.).
