On behalf of the City of Shamokin, Stromberg/Garrigan & Associates, Inc (SGA) is providing notice that construction of a public park located at 118 & 112 East Independence Street in Shamokin, PA is publicly advertised for bid.

Bid opening shall be held at 1:00 PM on July 12th at Shamokin City Hall.

ADDENDUM NO. 2
All Bidders submitting proposals for the above referenced project shall review the following modifications, additions, corrections, and interpretations of the BID DOCUMENTS and SPECIFICATIONS. The items discussed in this ADDENDUM shall be considered and included in all proposals and shall become a part of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. Receipt of this ADDENDUM shall be acknowledged in the space provided on the BID FORM(S). Failure to acknowledge receipt of this ADDENDUM on the space provided may be sufficient cause for rejection of the bid.
Instructions and Clarifications:
A. The City of Shamokin will receive sealed bids, until 1:30 PM prevailing time on July 25th, 2022, at 47 E. Lincoln Street, Shamokin PA 17872, after which time, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The formal bid award will be announced on August 8th, 2022.
All BIDDERS shall indicate receipt of Addendum No. 2 on the BID FORMS.

ADDENDUM NO. 4
All Bidders submitting proposals for the above referenced project shall review the following modifications, additions, corrections, and interpretations of the BID DOCUMENTS and SPECIFICATIONS. The items discussed in this ADDENDUM shall be considered and included in all proposals and shall become a part of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. Receipt of this ADDENDUM shall be acknowledged in the space provided on the BID FORM(S). Failure to acknowledge receipt of this ADDENDUM on the space provided may be sufficient cause for rejection of the bid.
Instructions and Clarifications:
A. All salvaged block materials referenced in drawing set shall be replaced with 2” thick cast stone, as specified on sheet SP1-01 GENERAL NOTES & MATERIAL NOTES. No salvaged block will be utilized.
B. The gate leading to the storage area indicated on sheet SP4-00 SITE IMPROVEMENT PLAN shall be OMEGA UNIK DOUBLE SWING GATE. The gate shall match the screen panel color and style as shown on sheet SP4-05 SCREEN PANEL DETAILS. The gate shall be 8’ in height, 6’ opening (two 3’-0” gates) with standard latch and standard hinge. The side of the gate adjacent to the masonry screen wall shall be anchored into the masonry screen wall and the other side shall attach to a 3”x3”x11GA post supporting the adjacent screen panel (with matching finish). Refer to sheet SP4-05 SCREEN PANEL DETAILS, detail 3 for post foundation detail.
All BIDDERS shall indicate receipt of Addendum No. 4 on the BID FORMS.
ADDENDUM NO. 5
All Bidders submitting proposals for the above referenced project shall review the following modifications, additions, corrections, and interpretations of the BID DOCUMENTS and SPECIFICATIONS. The items discussed in this ADDENDUM shall be considered and included in all proposals and shall become a part of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. Receipt of this ADDENDUM shall be acknowledged in the space provided on the BID FORM(S). Failure to acknowledge receipt of this ADDENDUM on the space provided may be sufficient cause for rejection of the bid.
Instructions and Clarifications:
A. Salvaged block materials referenced in the drawing set shall be included in the bid as originally specified. The block is anticipated to be stored at a vacant lot at E. Water Street and North Lombard Street. A photo is included in this addendum showing the general salvaged material condition.
All BIDDERS shall indicate receipt of Addendum No. 5 on the BID FORMS.
