REQUEST FOR BIDS #2 - Berwick Borough Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program

Berwick Borough's Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program, in conjunction with SEDA-Council of Governments, is now accepting bids for rehabilitation work on the following properties. Mandatory pre-bid contractor walkthroughs have been scheduled for the following dates and time:

Clyde E. Kettle - 124 Coughlin Street, Berwick, PA 18603 June 8, 2022  11 AM

To obtain a copy of the specifications prior to the walkthrough, contact Ruth Wiest, Housing Program Assistant, telephone 570-524-4491, or 800-326-9310, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

Bids are due and will be opened publicly at SEDA-COG, 201 Furnace Rd, Lewisburg, PA, at 2:00 PM on June 22, 2022.

You must have an EPA-certified renovator on staff to bid on this project.

The bidder/offers must show documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises and Section 3 business concerns who have been contact and to whom commitments have been made. This requirement will be further discussed at walk-through, and forms will be provided for your use in documenting solicitations and commitments. These completed forms shall be submitted with the bid.

We have your contractor's application on file. Should you be the successful bidder, we will need a copy of your current liability insurance certificate listing the appropriate insurance amounts and identifying SEDA-COG and Berwick Borough as additional insured. This certificate will be provide Berwick Borough and SEDA COG with a ten- (10) day cancellation notice and both should be mailed to Attn: SEDA-COG Housing Program, 201 Furnace Road, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
