Project Description: The Olney Recreation Center, located at 100 E. Godfry Ave, is an existing facility consisting of 13 acres of outdoor space and a one-story plus basement 20,600 SF building.
For a complete scope of work please refer to the Construction Drawings and the Specifications (Attachment A-D) This project is part of the City’s Rebuilding Community Infrastructure Program ("Rebuild").

Description of Services Needed:
The project scope of work consists of renovations to the existing building and site, and new construction. The existing one-story rec center building with basement and an adjacent small concession building will be demolished in entirety. A new LEED Silver 8,500 SF single story building will be constructed on the footprint of the demolished buildings. This new building will be connected to the existing 9,472 SF gym which will be renovated. Renovations to the site include a new synthetic turf football field and running track (non-regulation) on the location of the existing football and baseball fields, lighting improvements, removal and replacement of existing playgrounds, spray ground, and community terrace, upgrades to the existing basketball courts, tennis courts, and pathways, installation of a new soccer mini pitch, and new landscaping. This project will be LEED Certified Silver, at minimum.
