The Owner, Valley View Nursing Center, will receive sealed bids, one (1) original and two (2) copies, for HVAC Construction of HVAC Upgrades, at the Valley View Nursing Center until 2:00 PM prevailing time on the Fourteenth (14th) day of November 2024 at 2140 Warrensville Road, Montoursville, PA 17754 at which time and place, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A Bidders meeting has been scheduled for 10:00 AM local time on the Thirtieth (30th) day of October 2024. Attendees are to meet at the site.
Contracts for the construction of the project will consist of the following: HVAC Construction Bona fide HVAC Contract Bidders may secure Bid Documents as follows:
- Drawings and Project Manual are available from the office of the Architect by return of signed Electronic Document Release. For copy of the Electronic Document Release email request to info@ahvarchitects.com
- Bid Documents will not be released without executed release.
- Bid Documents are made available only for the purpose of obtaining offers for this project. Their use does not grant a license for other purposes.
This project is being supported in part, by an American Rescue Plan Act grant awarded to Valley View Nursing Center, by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
This project is a Prevailing Wage project under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates, Act 422 of 1961, P.L. 987, amended, administered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The successful prime contractors will be required to comply with all requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates Act.
The successful contractor shall comply with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, Act 222 of October 27, 1955 (P.L. 744) (43 PS Section 951, et. seq.) of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prohibiting discrimination because of race, color, religious creed, ancestry, age, sex, national origin, handicap or disability, by employers, employment agencies, labor organizations, contractors and others.
A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Valley View Nursing Center, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid.
Bids may be held by the VALLEY VIEW NURSING CENTER for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The VALLEY VIEW NURSING CENTER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage applies to this Project.
