The Enterprise Center Leaders About Business (TEC-LAB) gives youth a forum to explore entrepreneurship, develop leadership skills, and serve their communities as they create viable career options for the future.
- Summer Business and Leadership Camps—Summer TEC-LAB is a business and entrepreneurship day camp targeting rising 6th– 10th grade students throughout the Philadelphia area. The program introduces students to entrepreneurship and intelligent financial decision making, and connects them with successful local business owners and community leaders who mentor the students and foster their development as the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders. Since its inception in the summer of 1997, the program has provided thousands of youth with their first exposure to entrepreneurship, business mentors, technology training, and more in a fun, safe, and professional environment.
- Executive Incubator (EI) After School Program—EI is an intensive after-school program that allows Philadelphia teens to further explore entrepreneurship and in the process develop key skills around time management, intelligent financial decision making, effective communication, and technology use. EI participants actually get to start their own businesses by revising and then implementing business plans, while partnering with and learning from local business owners, community leaders, and past youth program alumni who have gone on to college and/or successful careers and serve as mentors and role models for current program participants.
